50 Cent Animal Ambition: An Untamed Desire To Win - Mastered At Engine Room Audio

I had the honor to work on 50 Cent's most recent studio album release Animal Ambition, mastered by Owner and Chief Mastering Engineer Mark B. Christensen at Engine Room Audio.

This album came out under G-Unit Records with a standard and deluxe version for the fans, while the standard album contains only 11 songs, the deluxe package delivers 14 songs plus a DVD with a music video per song for 13 of the songs included in the deluxe version.

Animal Ambition was intended to have a very distinct sound from beginning to end, with the exception of the songs "Smoke" and "Twisted" which have a much modern production approach, the album has a sound that stays consistent throughout almost the whole record, a somewhat compressed, dark and vocal heavy style that has an old school sonic vibe. With that being said, make sure you grab a vinyl copy, sit back, listen and enjoy. Great sounding master lacquers where cut at Taloowa Corporation by cutting engineer Chris Muth (Co-founder and equipment designer of Dangerous Music). That is something you cannot miss.
